"This pizza was handmade by my friend the day before," @merihidalgo tells us. "Wholemeal spelt crust, pomodoro, mozzarella, basil, and prosciutto." 🍕 If you had a pizza like this, you too would stop everything and eat a slice. 📷: @victorlecha@abstract_films
“There is truly nothing more enjoyable than a weekend mission to Mammoth with some of your best friends to capture your idol’s new creative outlet, #Mine77. We only had three days to capture everything, but when the energy is nothing but positive and productive, anything is possible. From shooting in 100 mph winds, to smoke bomb experiments, accidentally breaking a bottle of tabasco and it splashing in Timi’s eyes (sorry Timi!), to waking up on our final day there to blue skies and deep pow, this was a trip of a lifetime and we hope that you enjoyed what we captured. Big shout-out to all of the talented, creative geniuses that were involved in bringing this one to life.” - @JackMitrani
Back in 2003, the #BurtonStash parks were @jakeburton77's solution to blend freestyle with freeriding. Fast forward to now, and there are Stash parks all over the world, from @theremarkables in New Zealand to @killingtonmtn in Vermont, and everywhere in between. Speaking of, the Stash at @killingtonmtn has just celebrated its 10th birthday with the annual Slash & Berm event, which challenged riders to navigate a banked slalom through the woods with jumps over log jibs, and hairpin turns that were just inches away from branches and yeti sculptures. Our staff photographer, @jesselynndawson recently met up with artist and backcountry guide @jessagilbert at @whistlerblackcomb. Here's a story of one inspiring woman from another: "This is Jessa. She rips, and she’s also an incredible artist. She spends a lot of her time in the backcountry and will often post up, take out her notebook, and draw what she sees. While we were out looking for some fresh snow and good lines, the sun finally came out and gave us a great view of the DOA (Dead On Arrival), part of the Chamonix Chutes. It’s one of the longest resort-accessible couloirs in North America. It was such a special moment that Jessa got out her notebook and started drawing. I love her style. Can you spot the DOA and Jessa’s line?" See more in our story.

This winter, #Burton Ambassador @megkkee and her friend @kierenbritton spent some time traveling in an RV across Western Canada to meet and ride with locals. Five resorts in eight days. They spoke about their passion for sport, community, and sustainability and in turn, the locals showed them the best of their home mountains. "This moment is from @kickinghorsemtn. That mountain was truly rugged, just massive! My knees were shaking 😂 Kieren and I met up with a crew of locals and they showed us around the mountain throughout the day. Seeing the resort from the perspective of people who live there is a really special experience. They made us feel safe by giving us knowledge of where we were, a chance to hit up the best runs on the resort, and we built a strong bond through our shared love of snow sports."
