Push-Up Form Mistakes

❌ Driving the shoulders down to force range of motion or strength you may not have. A quality push-up does not require you to touch chest to ground.
Stop where your abilities naturally allow you to while maintaining a neutral alignment. If your goal is chest to ground, bring the hands slightly further apart and work on your strength to gradually get deeper into the push-up. 👌
❌ Elbows flaring out to the sides. Internally rotating the upper arm like this causes impingement in the shoulder as you go down into the bottom position.😩
I don’t understand why/how so many do this, but as you can probably see for me this is very painful and risky for the shoulder joint. Place the hands on the ground and allow the shoulders to bend back naturally without rotating.
If you aren’t quite strong enough for a strict push-up with proper form, practice on your knees or by elevating the upper body. Strengthen your chest, shoulders, and triceps by targeting them in your workouts 2x per week. 💪

PROTEIN CHEESECAKE BITES
Got a sweet tooth? Here’s a cravings crusher idea!
• 1/4c crushed almonds
• 1/4c shredded coconut
• 1tbs melted coconut oil
• 1tbs honey
• 1 cup soaked cashews
• 2tbs coconut cream
• 1 scoop @nlaforher vanilla #HerWhey protein

• 1tbs unflavored gelatin
• splash of milk of choice
1. Mix crust ingredients and pack 1tbs at the bottom of each cupcake mold.
2. Blend protein cheesecake ingredients until smooth & thick consistency.
3. Layer cheesecake mixture over crust.
4. Place in refrigerator or freezer to set.
5. Top with your favorite toppings.
