Body update and transformation!
I’m currently 115 lbs at 5’2 in this video from today but I was only 94 lbs in the second picture 😱. I was skipping meals, didn’t follow a balanced diet, and rarely did any strength training. My workout routine back then was pretty much just cardio. I let a busy work and travel schedule interfere with my health goals. Earlier in my career I never took supplements but now they’re a staple of my diet for the times I’m too busy to eat, especially protein. I have become more educated over the years in understanding the importance of balanced macros and strength training. It’s the real secret behind gaining healthy weight and building curves! 💪🏼🍑 @optimumnutrition#athlete

When you experience Cuba like I have you realize how insignificant some of our “problems” are. This past week I had some heartbreaking conversations with people about their hardships and seemingly hopeless situations. On top of their daily struggles, a devastating and rare tornado destroyed the homes and possessions of those who already have so little. The reality is life for most Cubans is already hard, they’re trapped in a system that’s very difficult to get out of. I’m one of the lucky ones to have had more opportunities in this life and for that I feel an obligation to help those less fortunate. Every trip is a humbling and eye opening experience and I always leave with this sense of wanting to do more and more. I know the picture has nothing to do with the caption 🤷🏻♀️ but I just want to thank everyone who contributed to my little project and I hope this inspires you to help when you can. ♥️😌
